A copy of this letter has been forwarded to the
Colonial Office who have been asked to concur in restrict-
ing the widening of the Queens Road to the exclusion of
Arsenal Street and the Murray Pier Road.
I am to add that My Lords will be glad to receive
at an early date the concurrence of the Secretary of State
to these proposals, in order that Treasury sanction may be
obtained as soon as possible, to carry out the necessary
arrangements.
